Sports are crucial for improving physical and mental health, fostering community unity by breaking down social barriers and providing an alternative to negative influences for youth. They also offer a pathway for identifying and nurturing local sporting talent, leading to economic opportunities and a stronger sense of community pride.
Playground in Satrikh
Trust is built on reliability, integrity and consistent delivery of value. TSF's advocacy efforts with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) Lucknow, to create a sports facility in Satrikh village, were successful in building such trust with HAL. As a result, HAL approved our proposal to build a playground. The "mini stadium" was inaugrated on 26th September'25.
Our initiatives in Satrikh like rural library, cleaning and rejuvenation of a pond and girls' education, were the reason for HAL Lucknow to make this contribution under their CSR support.
We are exploring partnership with organizations that promote sports in rural areas. More updates will follow soon.

International Girls Day
11th October, 2025
The first event at the new Satvik Playground was organized on the occasion of International Girl Child Day, marking a memorable beginning for the space. The event was graced by the Principal of Cambridge School, Satvik, and the Principal of GGIC Barabanki, along with trustees, volunteers, and mentors of the organization. Around 40 Sharanis enthusiastically participated in the sports activities led by Mr. Bharat Jain, while several students from nearby schools also joined in with equal excitement.

The day featured a series of engaging competitions, including 100-meter and 50-meter races for both boys and girls, a lemon race, a one-legged race, and a lively musical chair round that concluded the program on a joyful note.

Alongside the main events, participants and volunteers enjoyed access to the badminton court and carrom board, adding to the festive spirit of the playground’s inauguration.

The program began with encouraging words from the Principal of Cambridge School, followed by an address from Vibha Tara, the founder of the organization. The atmosphere throughout the event reflected high enthusiasm, teamwork, and a strong sense of sportsmanship.

To conclude the celebration, volunteers and mentors also participated in friendly races, symbolizing unity and the shared joy of play. The event not only inaugurated the Satvik Playground but also celebrated empowerment, community, and the inclusive spirit of sports.
