Special Days
We at TaraSri Foundation believe in celebrating life, people and festivals. The objective of celebrating such special days is to promote happiness and harmony and educate people about significance of such days.
National Youth Day Celebration
Swami Vivekananda was a 19th-century spiritual leader and thinker who introduced India’s philosophy to the world. His message of strength, self-belief, service, and nation-building continues to inspire generations. His birthday, 12th January, 2026 is observed as National Youth Day in India to remind young people of their inner power and responsibility toward society.
Celebrating the
Youth Spirit
Inspired by these teachings, Vibha Tara, Founder of TaraSri Foundation in Barabanki district, Uttar Pradesh, led a meaningful National Youth Day celebration at Satrikh village stadium. Guided by her spiritual values, the Foundation invited scholarship students to present posters on Swami Vivekananda’s life, message and read his quotations.
A photo booth installation encouraged community participation, symbolizing how his ideas continue to energize India’s youth in 2026—just as he envisioned strong, confident, and awakened young minds shaping the nation’s future. Prof Dr. Sheela Mishra, Dean-Faculty of Science, University of Lucknow, Vinita Mishra, Poet, Author and Advisor TaraSri Foundation, shared their addressed youth and villagers present.

12th January, 2026
While I have never clicked selfie at selfie points, I felt an instant pull toward the Swami Vivekananda installation at Lucknow University, ten days ago. This inspiration followed me to Satrikh village yesterday, where our TaraSri Foundation celebrated National Youth Day. I treated myself with selfies, with the image of India’s most iconic spiritual leader. Grateful.
