E) Bridge to Govt. Services
We at TSF believe in complimenting work of the local government, instead of duplicating work. The objective of this program is to impart information about government schemes/services and encourage local community to access such services/schemes. Under this program, we have been instrumental in getting two schemes approved for Satrikh village - 1) Amrit Sarovar to rejuvinate and beautify a pond and 2) develop a playground to promote sports among local youth.
The objective of this program is to impart correct information about government schemes and services and encourage them to use them. We will inform and educate local people about benefits of govt. schemes and facilitate accessing the services, as applicable. Some such services will be birth registration, immunization, old age pension, natural agriculture, Amrit Sarovar (Pond), playground, etc.
Update (Pond): We were instrumental in selection of a pond under Ámrit Sarovar Yojna', in village Satrikh. Based on our letter to the then District Magistrate, in December'22 , the pond's work was finally approved for cleaning, beautification, etc. The work has been started in the first week of June'23.
Update (Playground): We were instrumental in selection of a barren land for playground, in village Satrikh. Based on our letter to the BDO-Harakh, in January'23 , the playground work was finally approved for levelling of the ground, fencing, etc. In February'23, the BDO office has undertaken levelling of the ground. We are approaching CSR organizations who could develop sports facilities in this ground.
